Normet Injection Packers

Overview

Brass Packers

The design of the grease nipple type brass packer incorporates a non-return valve in the lower portion of the packer. When the resin has set, the top of the packer simply unscrews. This enables the base to be left in place leaving a small recess which can easily be filled using TamCrete Plug or similar. The hook on type has the non-return ball valve located in the head and this can simply be removed enabling the operative to relieve the water pressure within the structure prior to injection.

Steel Packers

Steel packers are constructed using specially coated steel to make then strong and durable. Steel Packers have the non-return ball valve located in the head/grease nipple which can simply be removed, enabling the operative to relieve the water pressure within the structure prior to injection and to also see the flow of resin during injection.

Aluminium & Zinc Packers

The design of the Zinc packer incorporates a non-return valve in the lower portion of the packer. When the resin has set, the top of the packer simply unscrews. This enables the base to be left in place leaving a small recess which can easily be filled using TamCrete Plug or similar. The Aluminium packers have the non-return ball valve located in the grease nipple and this can simply be removed, enabling the operative to relieve the water pressure within the structure prior to injection.

Plastic Packers

Plastic Packers 16-17 mm X 100 mm can be supplied with either a hook on connector or a grease nipple push on connector.  Both types incorporate a non-return valve.
