Operative Purchaser

We are now looking for an Operative Purchaser to join our Spare Parts Purchasing Team at Iisalmi factory of Normet Services, Finland.

We are growing our service business and need new professionals to our global team. As an Operative Purchaser, your responsibility is to manage material flows from our suppliers to further in the Normet supply chain. Daily work is combination of routine and process development tasks. Work includes purchasing tasks, data management, supplier monitoring and not to forget improving work safety. You are a key part of customer service process to ensure high customer satisfaction.

To succeed you have knowledge and understanding about purchase and global sourcing processes. You are a strong team player with good interpersonal skills, and you have a systematic way of working and able to prioritize your work even under pressure. Good IT skills (Microsoft office), especially ERP and PDM, and the ability to learn new systems easily is needed. Collaborator and negation skills make your team successful. The job requires ability to work with English and Finnish language and other languages is an asset. We appreciate a degree in a relevant area and work experience from global, industrial business environment. Limited travelling is required in this job role.
