Charmec SF 404/504 DA(V)
Overview
Charmec SF 404 and 504 DA(V) are the most agile ANFO chargers in our offering, capable of operating in tunnel envelopes of less than 4 meters. They are designed for superior safety and efficiency in face and production charging in underground mines and tunnels.
The SF 404’s basket boom has one telescopic section, with a maximum face height of 6 meters, while the SF 504’s boom has two telescopic sections, providing greater face coverage with a maximum face height of 7.3 meters. Basket boom tram support is utilized to reduce strain and stress on the basket boom and to increase machine productivity.
Ideal for development charging in narrow mine orebodies and built with a short knuckle boom construction for a small turning radius and exceptional underground maneuverability, the machine is available with ANFO vessel options ranging from two 300 l vessels to two 720 l vessels, providing sufficient volume for several faces without refueling. The machine is equipped with a safe and ergonomic FOPS/ROPS cabin and features a clean TIER 3 powertrain architecture. Additionally, the SF 404 DA(V) can be fitted with a high-capacity onboard compressor, ensuring maximum ANFO flow and eliminating the need for an external compressed air line.
