Tail Seal Grease

Normet offers a complete range of tail seal greases for shielded TBMs, including first fill, high-performance, and economic driving grades. First fill greases are pumped into the wire brushes before TBM startup to protect against wear, water, soil, and grout ingress while maintaining brush flexibility. Driving grade greases are injected into the sealant chambers as the TBM advances, forming a durable barrier that ensures continuous sealing under varying ground conditions.
