Basu Basnet joined Normet with a clear goal in mind: to be part of a globally respected company that offers real opportunities for growth. “I had a dream of working at Normet, and now I’m excited to continue even after the summer!”

Currently pursuing his master’s degree in mechanical engineering at LUT University, Basu found his place working between the sales and engineering team. As a sales support engineer, his role focused on upgrades and modifications, where he got to collaborate with both customers and engineers to solve problems. “The best part of the job was the variety, every day was different, and I got to always learn something new.”

Basu recalls the orientation day as the most memorable moment of his summer. “Meeting other trainees, seeing the factory, and hearing career stories was a such warm welcome to Normet.” He was especially impressed by the supportive atmosphere: “Everyone has been so approachable and helpful. My team has been amazing.”

Thanks to his dedication and enthusiasm, Basu was also able to extend his contract beyond the summer. “I’m so thankful and excited for this opportunity and can’t wait to learn and grow at Normet.”
