The Scamec LC Thor 095 A is a purpose-built machine designed for scaling applications with an effective vertical reach of up to 9.5 meters. It requires a minimum tunnel width of 4 meters and a minimum height of 2.4 meters, making it versatile for various underground environments.
Developed in close collaboration with our customers, the Scamec LC Thor combines Normet’s decades of expertise in advanced underground equipment with the invaluable insights of scaling operators who use this equipment daily. This collaboration has resulted in a machine that significantly enhances boom accuracy, handling, work area visibility, and operator ergonomics—ultimately elevating the safety and productivity of the entire scaling process. The Scamec LC Thor features an exceptionally safe FOPS/ROPS-approved cabin, providing excellent visibility and unmatched operator ergonomics. It features an agile and accurate articulated boom, along with a hydraulic hammer specifically engineered for scaling, ensuring highly efficient and precise scaling operations.
