D-Bolt®
Overview
The Normet D-Bolt® is an advanced, energy-absorbing rock reinforcement solution designed for permanent applications in underground excavations. It is particularly effective in areas where rock mass deformation or seismic activity is expected, offering reliable support throughout the life of the mine. The D-Bolt® features a smooth steel bar with strategically placed deformed sections (paddle sets) that serve as anchor points, while the smooth sections can de-bond from resin or cementitious grout and deform without constraints while absorbing a high amount of energy as the rock mass dilates.
